7 FOODS RICH IN WATER CONTENT – A MUST HAVE DURING SUMMER!

List of vegetables rich in water content

1.    Radish

One another wonderful addition to a potential rich salad, is a miraculously equipped radish. A root vegetable rich in spice, flavour, water (95%) and nutrients is an excellent source to bank on, for rehydration during summer. You can slice it up and sprinkle some salt and chilli over it, or add it to your bowl of salad with lemon juice, olive oil, poppy seeds and salt to taste.

2.    Cucumber

This water container with a green exterior can safely be called so, as it has 97% of water in it. It works perfectly fine as a veggie in salads, as the main ingredient in a shake, or even a soup. Cucumber not only cools down the body, but also helps improve our skin's texture.

3.    Tomatoes

Loaded with close to 94% water in them, tomatoes are a storehouse of many properties. They are anti-cancerous, plus are rich in Vitamin C, flavonoids, folate and potassium. Their power to hydrate speaks for itself when you slice it into one - the juicy interiors do their job quite well.

4.    Watermelon
As predictable as the name gets, the water in it takes precedence over the fruit. Very befitting as well. One of the finest examples of a hydration's source, especially during summers, this fruit is made up of 92% of water and is also equally rich in salt, calcium, magnesium, Vitamins C and A.

5.    Orange

The first bite into an orange is always filled with a dash of tanginess and a blast of instantaneous hydration (87% water) in the mouth. While everyone is aware of its richness in Vitamin C, its ability to hydrate is almost undervalued.

6.    Pineapple

A rich source of minerals, vitamins, antioxidants and water, pineapple is also widely preferred for its taste. Especially, there is nothing like a glass full of fresh pineapple juice. I mean, why not, it's 87% rich in water and does quite an amazing job in many other aspects too!

7.    Grapefruit

One of the most interesting benefits of including fruits that contain high water content in your diet is that they contain only minimal calories and provide an instant feeling of fullness.
